What If I’ve never ridden a moped?

As long as you know how to ride a bike, we offer free lessons and will make sure you feel completely comfortable.

If you’ve never ridden a moped, don’t worry! First of all, learning to ride a moped is much easier than learning to ride a motorcycle, because on a motorcycle, you have to control clutch, gear, throttle and balancing. But on a moped, just the throttle and balancing. No fuss of those clutch and gears. Also, you won't fall down since you keep your legs very low in the floor board.

You simply need to be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, and know how to ride a bike. A moving moped will balance itself. So mopeds are easier than bicycle. Bicycle rider, has to use the legs for pedaling to make the vehicle move. That job is eliminated with a moped. Before starting off fully understand the controls you are going to handle like brakes throttle control, horn, and ignition switch

Begin testing your balance by swaying left and right to feel how the weight is felt on both sides, and at the straight position for a couple minutes. Increase the speed and lift your feet for 5 seconds. Do this a couple more times, and you should be ready to cruise around the North Shore with effortless ease.
